At the opening in Ortaca, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that it is his 11^th visit to Muğla. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the position of chamber/exchange administration is one of service, “This building is the home of Muğla entrepreneurs. Muğla entrepreneurs deserve the best service. Muğla CCI is bringing service its members, offering better service. We want nothing else but to compete on equal terms with our competitors.” Hisarcıklıoğlu said that there is no one that the Turkish business community cannot compete with.

- Strong chamber, strong entrepreneur, strong economy

Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “I am greatly proud of the Muğla chamber and commodity exchange. Both of them are accredited. We have always said that, without strong chambers, there can be no strong entrepreneurs; without strong entrepreneurs, there can be no strong economy. Muğla CCI provides services to its members with this vision in mind. They are working to enrich Muğla. They are solving entrepreneurs’ problems. Your biggest complaint was high employment costs. We brought about the employment mobilization with chambers and commodity exchanges. The government provided support of historical proportions for employment. We created 1.6 million jobs in 6 months which enjoys complete tax exemption from the government in the first 3 months and then tax and SSI premiums support for the first 6 months. Muğla, by providing 62,000 jobs -3.5 people per company- is in first in nationally.”

Pointing out that the second biggest complaint of the business world was regarding financing, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the Respite Credits they provide with 9.9% interest have reached 27,000 firms. The TOBB President stated that they are using a resource of about 7 billion TRY for 260,000 companies (with zero interest, 3 year maturity) via KOSGEB, vouching for 313,000 companies through the Credit Guarantee Fund. Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that they were able to reach 600,000 companies in total.
