May the New Year bring peace to our country and the whole world

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his wish that 2017 bring peace and blessings. Stating that our country and the region in which it is located has passed through difficult days, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “May peace reign in 2017. May there be peace all over the world. May we leave a better world for the children of our sainted martyrs who sacrificed their lives. All our efforts and work are for this. In regards to the economy, we hope to have better days with reforms. We are hopeful for the future as the business world.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu's message is as follows:
"We’ve lost lives to terror in the year behind us; we’ve been through bad days. But we have never changed our upright stance, our resolve to fight, and our future goals. Our state has the power overcome all adversity.
We’ve stood against those who would harm our hopes shoulder to shoulder as a nation, no matter what our worldview may be.
We are confident in the future of our country, our dreams for good, truth, beauty and our hopes are great and strong enough to destroy all darkness.
We want to be able to understand each other better, to be more loving, tolerant and full of success in 2017.
On behalf of the Turkish business community, I wish 2017 brings everyone health, peace and happiness.”
