TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they found statement made by Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım regarding the decisions of the Economic Coordination Board the measures and supports for investment, production, employment and exports to be positive and morale boosting.

Hisarcıklıoğlu said the following in his statement:

“We believe that Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım and his government's executive and reformist actions and support for the investment, production, employment and exportation are positive and morale boosting.

We consider it extremely important to focus on the areas where our business community faces the most difficulties: the facilitation of access to finance as well as the preparation of mechanisms to reduce employment costs and increasing attractiveness of investment.

We also believe that these steps, especially in addressing our SMEs, will be reflected in the growth performance of the economy positively and will increase propensity for growth.

We were also very pleased with the fact that many of the subjects we, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, have shared with our government to date have been passed on to improve the business and investment environment of production sectors.

As the real sector enters a new year, sharing these with the public is positive and promising for the future. In 2017, hope will be dominant instead of uncertainty for the real sector.

We thank our government for showing that it stands with the real sector in these difficult days.

We hope that these steps which aim to encourage the Turkish business community will benefit our country, our economy and our entrepreneurs.

As the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey which believes in the power of our country and the dynamism of our private sector, we will continue to do our duty, work diligently and continue to produce even more in order to have these steps taken by our government to reflect unto the economy.”
