Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that sometimes he is directed the question why TOBB invests so much in education, “In all business endeavors, there is a risk factor. You might profit or you might incur losses. There is only one investment which will never incur loss and that is education. That will always profit you.”

Pointing out that investing in education will benefit the people, the city and the country, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated the only way to ensure prosperity, unity and solidarity is through education.

Stating that according to Islam, 3 ma’at ledgers are never closed, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “If you leave behind a beneficial legacy, a dutiful child or beneficial knowledge, their good deeds will continue to be added to your good deeds after your passing. This is an investment that benefits you both in this world and the next. As someone from Kayseri, we know best how to profit. If you want to profit both in this world and the next, invest in education. If we can educate our children well; if we preserve our unity and solidarity, with the grace of Allah, none can stand before us.”

Stating that Deputy Prime Minister Veysi Kaynak stands with all endeavors which will benefit Kahramanmaraş, Hisarcıklıoğlu said that Kaynak gives them courage and supports the private sector.

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the way to have a say in today’s world is through science and technology – that is why they have built this school for Kahramanmaraş.

Stating that he had received a request for a 16 classroom high school with a 100 student dormitory, Hisarcıklıoğlu said that they thought this would be too small for the city and, with a 15mn TRY donation, they have built a 24 classroom science high school with a 200 student dormitory.

Hisarcıklıoğlu said that he has brought with him copies of “Ethics” by Nurettin Topçu to present to the students, urging students and businessmen to read Topçu. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Topçu is one of the country’s most interesting, pious, courageous and principled luminaries.

- Resignations in the Ankara CC

In answer to a question regarding the resignations in the Ankara Chamber of Commerce, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “A resignation is a one sided declaration of will. A person can freely resign of his own will. There is nothing to be done or said about this. During this difficult days, I hope that Ankara CC will maintain its unity and solidarity to support the unity and solidarity of the country as a whole; electing a new board and chairman with its 188 council members to address the needs of the business community of Ankara. As TOBB it is our duty to appoint an interim director who will take the Ankara Chamber of Commerce to election.”
