Nobel laureate Prof. Dr. Sancar visited TOBB

Nobel prize winner in the field of chemistry, Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar visited the heart of the business community, TOBB. Expressing his honor in hosting, “the pride of Turkey,” TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “He has been awarded one of the most prestigious science awards. The fact that someone who thinks like us and is one of us has been awarded this prize will be a great role model for our university students.”​

Expressing love for his homeland, Sancar said, “I love my country. Our country needs science, industry and economy. That is why I greatly admire what you’re doing. I hope that with the developments in science as well as Turkey’s leaps in recent years, Turkey will be a prominent country in all fields in 2023.”

Also present at the visit was Prof. Dr. Sancar’s wife Gwen Sancar.
