Speaking during the visit, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they worked closely with Minister Çelik during his term as Minister of Labor and Social Security and said, “The minister is an expert in the fields of consultation, common sense and ensuring reconciliation between parties of conflicting interests. Many structural reforms in the fields of labor and social security were implemented during his term.”

Stressing the importance of the agriculture sector for TOBB, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they believe Minister Çelik will be instrumental in the solution to many long standing problems of the agricultural sector.

Addressing the issue of the crisis with Russia, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they have prepared a report to be presented to the Ministry of Economy.

Food, Agriculture and Livestock Minister Faruk Çelik stated that they’ve succeeded in many endeavors during his term as Minister of Labor and Social Security with TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu and his colleagues.

Stating that they would be working with the same approach, Çelik said that they would be enabling dialogue mechanisms to interact with the business community, “I believe that we will render unto our people very important services at the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock with the contributions of TOBB.
