06.10.2015 / Bingöl
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that TOBB had also built 480 residences in Bingöl following the 2003 earthquake.
Hisarcıklıoğlu explained the reason for the school’s name with, “Plains of Bingöl are drawing in investments and investors; Bingöl’s rocky mountains are hosting ski resorts; Bingöl’s children are crossing seas and attending the best schools, taking part in the country’s politics and economy. The most prominent example of this is the Deputy Prime Minister Yılmaz. He is a true son of these lands. Born in Bingöl, he was educated in the best schools of the world through his own efforts, became a bureaucrat, minister and is now the Deputy Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic – showing just how much the children of Bingöl can accomplish with education. The life story of the Deputy PM is what inspired us to build this school.”
Deputy Prime Minister Cevdet Yılmaz expressed his happiness in attending the opening of such a beneficial service.
Stating that the government’s priority has always been education, Yılmaz touched on the impossibility of managing all education activities with the means of the government.
Pointing to the school as the best example of public – private cooperation, Yılmaz thanked TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the TOBB Board for all of the similar projects they undertake throughout Turkey.
