UMEM Ability’10 Courses opening in July will provide 2,200 people with employment

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that, as a result of the 131 courses opening during UMEM Ability’10 term of July 2015, 2,200 would receive vocational training and find employment upon successful completion of their courses.​

Hisarcıklıoğlu spoke on the subject: “The UMEM Ability’10 project run by our Union, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, İŞKUR General Directorate, the Ministry of National Education and the TOBB University of Economics and Technology, will provide employment opportunities to 2,200 people through the courses opened in July.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that most demand for human resources in July 2015 have been from textiles and call center sectors, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Highest number of courses opened in July are in Bursa with 16, followed by Şanlıurfa and İstanbul. 40% of courses targeted the service and agriculture sectors. A wide variety of courses in a myriad of fields were opened including Journalism in Tunceli, Object Based Programming and Network Systems and Administration Personnel in Van. I would like to congratulate the Course Administration staff for their devoted efforts.”

The TOBB President stated that the most requested courses opened in June were Fabric Garment Machinist, Call Center Personnel and Automotive Assembler.
