“No unemployment in Aksaray”

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Aksaray’s Rising Values award held by the Aksaray Commodity Exchange.​

Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated those who won awards and said, “This is the future of Aksaray. We must care for them as the future of Aksaray and its youth.”

Drawing attention to the positive outlook in Aksaray, Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his joy in seeing such unity and solidarity.

Providing figures on Aksaray’s economy, Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that new establishment opening rate averages to 5% in Turkey while it is 6% in Aksaray.

Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Corporate taxpayer increase averages to 2% in Turkey; 3% in Aksaray. Income taxpayer ratio increased by 1% in Turkey; 5% in Aksaray. Aksaray is one of the 5 provinces with the least unemployment in Turkey. There is no unemployment in Aksaray. While employment increased by 5% in Turkey, it increased by 11% in Aksaray. The ratio dishonored cheques is half that of Turkey’s average.”

The TOBB President pointed out the lack of tourism, stated that if it were to be developed, there would be no stopping Aksaray.

- “The government needs to be established as soon as possible”

In regards to the June 4th elections, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that considering the participation rate in the elections, 96% of the electorate is represented in the parliament by the four parties today. Pointing out that it is now up to the 550 elected PMs and the four political parties to form a government, “The people have called for a coalition. Can there be any argument against the will of the people?”

Touching on the developments in various countries effecting Turkey such as Syria, Iraq, Ukraine, Crimea and the XinjianHisarg Autonomous Region, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We’ve fulfilled our duty to vote as citizens. A government needs to be formed as soon as possible.”

Stressing that the economic crisis is still in effect in Europe and that Greece’s future is unclear, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the effects of the latter on the European economy is uncertain.

Stating that the global economy has yet to recover, Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that elections have been held for the last 5 years, effecting the economy negatively. He emphasized the need to implement the necessary economic reforms, “If this is accomplished I can have hope for the future. I can have hope for the people.”

Following the speeches, successful Aksaray businesspeople received awards.
