“I wish prosperity, health and happiness for all laborers”

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his celebratory message for May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day, said, “As members of a civilization which recognizes the sanctity of labor, the sweat of the brow and the just distribution of wealth, recognizing these to be fundamental, I wish prosperity, health and happiness for all laborers.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his message for May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day:
“Workers and employers are inseparable primary elements of work life. Without the entrepreneurs and industrialists, our laborers, our laboring brothers, we mean nothing.
Therefore, if Turkey has set itself great goals and wishes to increase its national income; if we want to see better days, this is only possible through unity and solidarity.
The rights of our employees and their labor are values which we dwell on and have great respect for.
To this end, on behalf of the Turkish business community, I celebrate the May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day of all our laborer brothers and sisters who through the sweat of their brow, contribute to the futures of our country and all our children; I present my deepest respect and earnest greeting.”
