We have the opportunity to develop and enrich our cities. You are as rich as your city. Our mission is to enrich our cities.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that common purpose comes to the fore in this regard, “Everyone will think differently but come together around a common purpose for the benefit of the city’s future.”

Stating that council members become opinion leaders through a difficult election process, the TOBB President said, “That is why you must be well-informed and relay this information.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that their positions are ones for giving, not taking, “The most beneficent of men is he who is beneficent unto others. You must make good use of this great opportunity to be beneficent unto others. Is there anything more beneficent than providing employment?”

Reminding that TOBB has appointed academic consultants from universities to 81 provinces, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The duty of these consultants is to provide assistance to chamber and exchange presidents; to enable cooperation between universities and the business world.”
