“Newroz renews and strengthens our hope”

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Newroz, the symbolic reawakening of nature with the coming of spring, is a celebration of peace and friendship; bringing tranquility and joy, renewing and strengthening hope.
TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his Newroz statement:
“A symbol of unity, solidarity and brotherhood and celebrated by people with great joy, Newroz is a day of glad tidings and happiness, of cleansing and renewal. We should continue this beautiful tradition by embracing each other with brotherly love.
These lands, the cradle of tolerance, love and brotherhood, a multitude of peoples from every creed, tongue and culture have lived together in peace. Our country is a land which holds this rich culture at its bosom. The people of this country are connected to each other with a spiritual bond.
On behalf of the Turkish business community, celebrate Newroz along with everyone in our country and in the countries which also celebrate it and hope it brings good days of tranquility, peace and happiness.”
