Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his speech during the ceremony that businesses contributing to Turkey’s employment rate and beatification should be protected. Emphasizing that businesses awarded so would continue to wrok with the same joy and motivation, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that İznik’s agriculture based economy could be turned into a tourism economy in a single moment.

Pointing out that the restoration of the Green Mausoleum could not be completed without the china of İznik, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The china produced here can’t be replicated anywhere else. This is extraordinary. We must present the standards and quality of the İznik china once more to the world. I’m afraid we haven’t been able to achieve the quality of china crafted during the Ottoman period. We have a duty to İznik and to history; to the Ottoman Empire to do better.”

İznik Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board Chairman Mahmut Dede gave a presentation on the economy and tourism data of the county as well as the projects they’ve undertaken.

- Yenişehir visit

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, following his İznik visit, visited the Yenişehir Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Orhan Torun and Council Members. Stating that Yenişehir used to be one of the Ottoman Empire’s capitals, Hisarcıklıoğlu stressed the importance of the county, stating that the county has an important place in both agriculture as well as industry.

Stating that the most beneficent of men is he who is beneficent unto others, Hisarcıklıoğlu spoke in regards to the mission of entrepreneurs. Reporting that 1 million new people join the workforce each year, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “If you are able to provide employment to these youths, congratulations!”

Touching on the incentives provided as per the Credit Guarantee Fund, the TOBB President reported that there is affirmative action especially in regards to women entrepreneurs.

Afterwards, Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Yenişehir Municipality Director Süleyman Çelik and the Yenişehir Commodity Exchange President Saim Bolaca to exchange views.
