Providing people with jobs and food is akin to prayer

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Council Member Seminar taking place at the TOBB Union Center on the 31st of October through to the 2nd of November, 2014. Thanking the council members for their attendance, Hisarcıklıoğlu said that those who provide people with jobs and food have taken on a very valuable mission, said, “Providing people with jobs and food is akin to prayer.”​
The third Council Member Seminar started at the TOBB Union Center. The seminar will last 3 days. TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu addressed the council members, explaining the goal of the seminar and its importance.

Stressing the importance of the accreditation efforts and the concept of 5-star chambers, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “It doesn’t stop at just getting this piece of paper and becoming a 5-star chamber. You must consistently provide a high level of service.”

Going on to speak in regards to TOBB’s wealth of accumulated experience, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Our responsibility is great, that is why we work day and night.” He also provided information in regards to TOBB ETU and TEPAV.

Pointing out that cities instead of countries are competing nowadays in the global economy, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they also have great responsibilities as the opinion leaders of their cities.

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the last day activities taking place at TOBB ETU. Hisarcıklıoğlu stressed the importance of investing in the brand value of institutions and stated that they are able to provide council members with better information regarding chambers, exchanges and TOBB’s various services.

Stating that investment in a city is investment into the people who live there, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Together we are strong. Our power comes from our unity.”

Council members, in regards to seminar, stated that the program was fulfilling and that they are quite satisfied.
