In Washington D.C. for the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Board Meeting, TOBB and ICC Turkey President, ICC Board Member Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the former Treasury Undersecretary İbrahim Çanakcı who was newly elected as the IMF Executive Director at his office.​
Congratulating IMF Executive Director Çanakcı during the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they are greatly proud of the duty he has taken up on behalf of our country, a duty wherein he is capable of monitoring the global economic developments much more closely as well as playing a more effective role in actively directing said developments.
