Hisarcıklıoğlu’s AYSO visit took place at the Aydın Chamber of Industry Meeting Hall.

Following AYSO President Mehmet Yunus Şahin’s opening speech, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu touched on the importance of the UMEM Project undertaken together by İŞKUR and AYSO.

Expressing his sadness in regards to the increasing number of work-related accidents and resulting deaths in Turkey, Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that importance of human life was stressed during their first meeting with the Prime Minister and the Minister of Labor and Social Security, stating that a vocational proficiency document may be required for hazardous work following 2015. This document will be valid in all European countries.

Hisarcıklıoğlu also praised AYSO for having the highest number of woman members in its council in Turkey with 17 of 35 being women.
