In an announcement following the visit, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they vehemently condemn the attack.

Conveying their condolences to the wounded Chief of Security and police officer, Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed the great sorrow they collectively feel in regards to an attack on a public servant working to further the prosperity, peace and happiness of the people of Bingöl during his visit to the local craftsmen.

 Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they were visiting to extend their condolences to Ürker’s family.

TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the funereal prayer for martyred Deputy Security Chief Atıf Şahin, killed in a terror attack with the excuse of the siege of Kobane.

Also present during the funeral were TBMM Speaker Cemil Çiçek, CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, BBP Chairman Mustafa Destici, Deputy PM Yalçın Akdoğan, Internal Affairs Minister Efkan Ala, Labor and Social Security Minister Faruk Çelik, Eneryg and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yıldız and National Defense Minister İsmet Yılmaz as well as the representatives of various civil society organizations.
