Speaking during the opening of the meeting which took place at the TOBB Union Center, Minister Çelik stated that they will be discussing work accidents and what measures must be taken, “The assessments we make here today will be presented to the Cabinet tomorrow. The final decision will be made by the Cabinet and will be relayed to the TBMM (the Parliament) for making the necessary regulatory changes.”

Minister Çelik stated that, after years of working with all social strata, representatives of workers and employers, there could be room for improvement in the legislation due to changing times and conditions.

Minister Çelik said, “We have convened once again to address these issues under TOBB’s roof. We will be discussing work accidents and what measures must be taken and present the results to the Cabinet. The final decision will be made by the Cabinet and will be relayed to the TBMM (the Parliament) for making the necessary regulatory changes.”
