Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Ankara, Farruh Sharipov visited the TOBB President, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. During the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that it was an honor to host Ambassador Sharipov and that they view Tajikistan closer than a friend; more akin to a brother.​

Ambassador Sharipov stated that the good relations with Tajikistan have progressed well in the strategic and economic sense in recent years and that this was very pleasing.

Sharipov stated that the Tajikistan President İmamali Rahman’s state visit on the 17th and 18th of December will further develop the bonds of fraternity with Turkey.
