The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the Chamber and Exchange Presidents from 37 Southern and Southeastern provinces visited the CHP President Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.

After the meeting, TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu spoke to the members of the press and related the problems and developments regarding the region.

Stating that we are undergoing a sensitive period, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “In these sensitive times, my presidents of chambers and exchanges are always among the people, they are the opinion leaders of their region, province and counties. We are relaying their observations to the presidents of the political parties.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu said that they would also be visiting the other parties present in the National Assembly.

- Kılıçdaroğlu: “We all want to live in peace and harmony in this country”

Drawing attention to the importance of the duties chamber presidents take on, CHP President Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu said:

“We will bring about peace and harmony together. We will fight for it together. We as politician failed to gather people together and talk things out. You have been more proactive, you are working to bring us together. I say with all my heart, I have no doubts as to the unity and solidarity of this country. We all want to live in peace and harmony in this country. Before anything else, we want peace; we want harmony.

We have succeeded in achieving great things as CHP. We want the 10% election barrier to be lifted. We want democracy to completely take hold. We want unsolved murders to come to light. Let us inspect these together, to clear this smirch on our democracy. We asked for special incentives. We said investment opportunities need to be increased. GAP needs to be completed as soon as possible. We must solve this problem which has plagued us for 30-35 years. All that is necessary is that we sit around a table and make an effort to find solutions. It is all possible if this is done.”
