TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu traveled to Brussels with the syndicate confederation and profession organization presidents who form the Turkish part of the Turkey – EU Joint Advisory Committee on the 21st of January, 2014.​
Attending the joint press meeting of Prime Minister Erdoğan, who is visiting Brussels after five years, and the European Parliament President Martin Schultz, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the meeting held to commemorate the 50th year of the Turkish workforce in Belgium.

In addition to TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu, TESK, TÜRK-İŞ, HAK-İŞ, TZOB, MEMUR-SEN Presidents as well as the İKV Board Chairman are also members of the Turkey – EU JAC.
