Nigerian Ambassador Mallammadori invited Turkish companies to invest in Nigeria

Nigerian Ambassador Ahmed Abdulhamid Mallammadori visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

The meeting, attended by the Turkish – Nigerian Business Council Turkish side President Hakan Özel, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu assessed the economic relations between the two countries, stating that the trade volume between Turkey and Nigeria remains below what it should be and that in order to develop commercial relations, moving in unity is necessary.

Nigerian Ambassador Mallammadori stated that Nigeria is following Turkey’s lead in attaining its mid-term goals and that, they can learn much from Turkey, which uses modern technology effectively.

The Ambassador stated that Nigeria has set itself the goal becoming one of the world 20 largest economies by 2020, requesting that TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu urge Turkish companies to invest in Nigeria. Mallammadori invited Turkish companies to Nigeria to assess the great business opportunities there.
