Hisarcıklıoğlu: Our sorrow for the martyrs who sacrifice their lives so that ours may go on is immense

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu made statement regarding our soldiers who were martyred in a confrontation with terrorist forces in the Amanos Mountains in Hatay. Condemning the violence of terror, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “It is impossible to put into words the dearness and the place in our hearts our soldiers hold who sacrificed their lives so that our lives may continue, for our unity and solidarity. Our sorrow is immense.”
In his message, Hisarcıklıoğlu said:
“We have learned to our great sorrows that, today, in the Amanos Mountains of Hatay, a major, a first and second lieutenant were martyred and two soldiers wounded.
The only role those who take up by taking up arms through acts of terrorism in the course of history is that of murderer. It is my hope that traitors who step up to this evil role realize that they will never destroy the unity and solidarity of this country and that they will never attain any of their goals through violence and attacks without furthering their crimes against humanity.
Our honored martyrs live on forever in our hearts.
On behalf of the Turkish business world I pray for the grace of Allah on our martyrs, present my condolences to their grieving families and our nation and hope for the quick recovery for the wounded veterans.”
