In his Mothers’ Day message, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that mothers’ love has no comparison, “If love and beauty are to save the world, the source will undoubtedly be our mothers. A foundation of healthy, successful and honest social structure can only be constructed with love for mothers and children at its heart.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu said:

“If love gives meaning to life then we know very well that mothers are the source of love. As they have the largest share in the development of an individual, mothers are also the architects of society. We learn the tenets for learning and understanding life and living honorable as befits a human from our mothers. A mother’s heart is the child’s school.

A famous thinker said, ‘Those who trust life despite failure and disasters are the ones raised by a good mother,’ Just as they teach us honesty so, too, do they teach us to fight and to smile at life.

It should not be forgotten that societies which do not put the proper importance on its women and mothers are doomed to fail in the race of civilizations. While our mothers are the central support of our families, they are also the dynamic factors of our business life when they choose to be take part in the economy.

The truth is that the value put on its mothers by a country is the most concrete indication of its level of civilization.

It is with these thoughts and feelings that I, on behalf of the Turkish business world, congratulate all of our mothers who deserve the best and the most beautiful of everything and salute them with respect.”
