In his opening remarks, Seyit Ardıç emphasized the importance of working together with other sectors such as cement, ceramics, furniture and consultancy, with which the sector interacts by nature.

The Council, which convened with the agenda of the election of the Council Presidency Council, was elected unanimously by Tahir Tellioğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Confederation of Construction Contractors (İMKON), who entered the Council as the only candidate for the Presidency of the Council, while Mustafa Şahin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the United Federation of Construction Contractors, was elected unanimously as the Vice President of the Council.

Tahir Tellioğlu, the President of the Council, who took the floor after the elections of the Presidency Council, emphasized that the Council should start its new term work as soon as possible, and said that the structural problems of the sector can be solved together before the relevant Institutions and Organizations under the leadership of TOBB. Mustafa Şahin, Vice President of the Council, who took the floor afterwards, touched upon the inclusive structure of the Council and emphasized the importance of voicing the problems of the sector from a single voice.

Following the speeches of the Presidency Council, the Council Members operating in different fields of the construction sector expressed the problems they experienced in their own fields for the sector, while addressing issues such as qualified labor force, urban transformation, classification of building contractors and price difference.
