Within the scope of the first call of TÜBİTAK 1812 Entrepreneurship Support Program (BİGG) 2024, the BİGG GARAJ program, carried out in cooperation with TOBB University of Economics and Technology (ETU), ASELSAN and KTO Karatay University, started to receive applications for the 900,000 TRY capital support provided by TÜBİTAK for entrepreneur candidates.

Starting from the 2024-1^st Term call, the support amount will be transferred to the organization as an investment in return for a 3% share with TÜBİTAK BIGG Fund. Entrepreneur candidates who have an idea in thematic areas such as smart transportation, smart production systems, energy and clean technologies, communication and digital transformation, health and good life, and sustainable agriculture and nutrition and who want to establish their own company to develop their R&D and innovation projects can apply. If accepted, they will receive a non-refundable capital support of 900,000 TRY.

In addition, technology-based entrepreneurship trainings, business plan creation and project writing trainings, and all mentoring support will be provided free of charge by BIGG GARAJ project partners and support organizations. Entrepreneurs will also be one step closer to cooperation networks, potential customers and financing sources through TOBB ETÜ, ASELSAN and KTO Karatay University.

- Application requirements

The application conditions for support are as follows: Being a student or graduate enrolled in any associate, undergraduate, graduate or doctoral program. Not having received support within the scope of the Ministry of Industry and Technology Techno-Entrepreneurship Capital Support or TÜBİTAK 1812 Program 2^nd stage. Not being involved in the partnership structure of any enterprise as of the pre-application date. Applications can be made via https://etugaraj.org/bigg-garaj/.

- Over 16 million liras of grant support has been provided since 2015

More than 1000 entrepreneurs have participated in the entrepreneurship trainings and more than 500 entrepreneurs have participated in the mentoring program that TOBB ETU Technology Transfer Office has carried out in more than 20 provinces and online within the scope of BIGG GARAJ Program since 2015, and more than 80 teams have been entitled to receive non-refundable grant support of more than 16 Million TRY. TOBB ETU Technology Transfer Office worked with entrepreneurs who established their companies and supported them to receive investments from Türkiye and abroad and to launch their products to the market.
