TOBB Konya Women Entrepreneurs Council organized the Mevlana 750th Vuslat Anniversary Women Entrepreneurs Tolerance Unity program in Konya.

Meryem Betül Özkardeş, President of TOBB Konya Women Entrepreneurs Council, emphasized in her opening speech that it is very important to support women entrepreneurs and share their success stories and said, “Dear businesswomen, you add value not only to the business world but also to the development of your society. Your successes are not only your own, but you also have stories that inspire other women. Women entrepreneurship is not only an individual success story, but also a tool for social transformation. Together, we must strive to help women realize their full potential in business and build a more inclusive economy. Let's continue to work together for a world where more women can start their own businesses, lead and add value to society in the future.”

TOBB Council Member Selçuk Öztürk thanked all women entrepreneurs for their interest in the program and said, “The way to develop our country and to make our economy sustainable is to direct all the dynamics and values of our cities to a common goal with a common mind. Therefore, our business community has important duties in the development of our cities and increasing their competitiveness. As it is known, we need more entrepreneurs in the age of change, where new models of doing business and trade are being discussed in the global economy. At the same time, we see our female entrepreneurial power as a wealth to increase the welfare of both our city and our country. Women entrepreneurs are a great strength for our economy. We should encourage our women to work and produce. At this point, our TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council, established in 2007 under the leadership of our TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, is of great importance. Our Women Entrepreneurs Councils have fulfilled important duties in order to increase the number of entrepreneurs in our cities and in our country and to develop entrepreneurship culture.”
