At the meeting, sectoral problems experienced in İstanbul within the scope of health tourism were discussed.

In his speech at the meeting, TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken thanked the İstanbul Chamber of Commerce for their cooperation. Mr. Ülken informed the participants about the need for regional meetings and TOBB's support to the sector in this regard, and expressed his belief that administrative and legal regulations will pave the way for Türkiye to reach a much better place in the field of health tourism as a result of the cooperation with the public during and after the regional meetings.

Mehmet Develioğlu, Vice President of the İstanbul Chamber of Commerce, expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation and hosting the sector representatives and emphasized that Türkiye stands out with its quality and fast healthcare services and the importance of authorization certificate in healthcare services.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu, İstanbul Provincial Director of Health of the Ministry of Health, Ali Alperen Kaçar, Director General of International Service Trade of the Ministry of Trade, Çağatay Çınar, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors on behalf of the Health Insurance Managers Association, Elif Ural, Board Member on behalf of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies, members of the Turkish International Health Tourism Council and representatives from all stakeholders of the sector.

The results of the surveys conducted before and during the meeting were evaluated together with the participants. The meeting ended with the speeches of public representatives on problem determinations and solution proposals.
