Number of Capacity Reports Approved in November 2023 Increased by 4.9% Compared to the Same Month Last Year

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in November 2023 increased by 4.9% (227) compared to November 2022 (4,646) and reached 4,873.
Of the 4,873 capacity reports approved in November; 1,263 were issued in İstanbul, 328 in İzmir, 319 in Bursa, 316 in Ankara, 201 in Kocaeli and Konya, 174 in Gaziantep, 138 in Kayseri, 120 in Manisa and 118 in Adana.
The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industry Database increased by 2.7% (2,535) from 95,009 in November 2022 to 97,544 in November 2023.
According to Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 3.5% (135,977 units) from 3,850,850 in November 2022 to 3,986,827 in November 2023.
Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
