Cengiz Günay, Member of the Board of Directors of TOBB, mentioned the positive developments regarding the Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (KKDİK), which has been on the agenda of the sector for a long time, and thanked the Council Members and the public for their support. Mr. Günay concluded his speech by congratulating Ahmet Pura, President of the Council, on his 50th anniversary in business life.

At the meeting, Ethem Yanar, Branch Manager from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, shared the latest developments on KKDÄ°K with the Council Members.

Regarding the legislative developments in the cosmetic product sector, evaluations were made by the Council Members regarding the Regulation on Cosmetic Products, Guideline on Claims of Cosmetic Products Version 6.0, Product Tracking System (ÃœTS) Applications, Regulation on Efficacy and Safety Studies and Clinical Trials of Cosmetic Products and Raw Materials.

Under the heading of Evaluation on Biocidal Products Legislation and Practices, the latest developments on the Products Type 1-19 Group Products under the Authority of the Turkish Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency and the Products under the Authority of the General Directorate of Public Health were shared with the Council Members.

During the meeting where evaluations were made on medical devices legislation and practices, developments regarding the harmonization with the European Green Deal were also discussed.

The meeting was concluded with the celebration of the 50^th anniversary of the President of the Council, Ahmet Pura, in business life.
