The meeting, which took place at TOBB Twin Towers, was also attended by the Deputy Chief of Mission of the Austrian Embassy and representatives of Austrian companies.

Seyit Ardıç informed the delegation about TOBB. Ardıç emphasized that they work with the Austrian Chamber of Economy both at bilateral level and on joint platforms, and stated that TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu was awarded the "Grand Golden Order of Merit" in 2009 for his contribution to the development of economic and commercial relations between Türkiye and Austria, and that he was also awarded the Austrian Chamber of Economy Gold Award in 2014.

Ardıç stated that the trade volume of the two countries is around 4 billion Euros, but he believes that this figure should increase.

Karlheinz Kopf emphasized the contribution of TOBB to vocational training and said that the Federal Austrian Economic Chamber also attaches great importance to this issue.

Expressing his satisfaction with the cooperation between the two Chambers, Kopf also stated that they support the work on the lifting of visa restrictions between the two countries.
