In his opening speech, TOBB Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci emphasized that the upcoming period is a period that can focus on structural reforms and stated that he thinks this period will be an important window of opportunity for all sectors.

Büyüksimitci stated that as TOBB, they wish to establish an ecosystem in Türkiye that not only monitors the initiatives abroad but also hosts initiatives that open up to the world, and shared some of the sectoral data in the State of Türkiye Tech 2023 report published by the Digital Transformation Office in recent months with the Council Members.

In his opening speech, Council Chairman Altan Küçükçınar made a general assessment of the sector. Mr. Küçükçınar stated that share options for employees and convertible financing instruments are among the most important agenda items awaiting solutions in the coming period.

In addition, Serkan Ünsal, General Manager of Startup Information Technologies Co Inc, made a presentation on the evaluation of the sector data for the first period of 2023.

The meeting, which was also informed about the activities carried out since the last meeting as the Presidential Council, ended with the consultation of the road map of the Council for the coming period.
