Of the 4,137 capacity reports approved in May, 1,081 were issued in İstanbul, 305 in Ankara, 258 in İzmir, 226 in Bursa, 168 in Kocaeli, 163 in Gaziantep, 156 in Konya, 107 in Tekirdağ, 106 in Manisa and 102 in Adana.

The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industry Database increased by 6.2% (5,673) from 91,391 in May 2022 to 97,064 in May 2023.

According to Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 5.3% (196,713 units) from 3,746,448 in May 2022 to 3,943,161 in May 2023.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
