Of the 3,994 capacity reports approved in April; 1094 were issued in İstanbul, 287 in Ankara, 274 in İzmir, 217 in Bursa, 198 in Konya, 167 in Kocaeli, 125 in Gaziantep, 110 in Antalya, 107 in Tekirdağ and 84 in Denizli.

The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industry Database increased by 7.2% (6,457) from 90,207 in April 2022 to 96,664 in April 2023.

According to Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 5.8% (217,760 units) from 3,723,859 in April 2022 to 3,941,619 in April 2023.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
