In his opening speech, TOBB Board of Directors Member Hakan Ülken shared with the council members what has been done as TOBB in line with the council decisions taken in the last meeting. Ülken stated that the opinions of the council on the sector problems experienced by the technical consultancy firms with DSİ and KGM were forwarded to the relevant institutions and that they would be the suitors of the process.

Council President H.İrfan Aker stated that the effect of the staff change in public institutions on the initiatives and processes experienced was not at the expected level, but that the process would be followed up by DSI and KGM.

Council Members consulted with public representatives on “Difficulties and Restrictions Faced by Turkish Technical Consultancy / Architecture Firms in Overseas Tenders,” “Price Differences,” “Professional Liability Insurance.” It was decided to prepare the opinion of the Council and to transmit the opinions formed to the relevant public institutions in writing.
