TRNC Delegation visited TOBB

Within the framework of the Economic and Financial Cooperation Agreement signed between the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, within the scope of the policy and action plans for which the Ministry of Family and Social Services is also responsible, the Ministry delegation from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) under the chairmanship of Hülya Yavuz, Deputy Director General for the Status of Women at the Ministry of Family and Social Policies.​

Hüseyin Akcan, General Director of the Department of Social Services, who headed the delegation of the TRNC side, gave information about the women's entrepreneurship activities in the TRNC and touched on the importance of developing bilateral cooperation. TOBB EU and Foreign Relations Department Head Mustafa Bayburtlu, who chaired the meeting, gave information about TOBB general activities. TOBB Entrepreneurship Manager Batuhan Demir also made a presentation on TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council activities and the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Turkey.
