Turkey Azerbaijan Women Entrepreneurs Business Forum held in Istanbul

Turkey Azerbaijan Women Entrepreneurs Business Forum was held on February 28, 2022 at TOBB Plaza.​

The meeting, chaired by Sakina Babayeva, President of the Azerbaijan Association of Women Entrepreneurs and Chairwoman of the Committee of Women Entrepreneurs of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Ayla Harp, Deputy Head of the Delegation of the Turkish side, was chaired by Prof.Dr. Aysun Baykarabulut, Malkara Chamber of Commerce and Industry Assembly Speaker Nurdan Altay Güngör, Members of the Turkic CCI Women's Committee and women entrepreneurs from Azerbaijan and İstanbul attended.

Sakine Babayeva emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity and invited Turkish women entrepreneurs to cooperate with Azerbaijani women entrepreneurs and to improve trade.

Deputy Chairman of the Delegation Ayla Harp said in her speech that Azerbaijan is our second home; one nation and two states. It's important that we stick together in these difficult times. It was a very timely meeting. She said it was very important that we send a message of unity and solidarity to the whole world.

In her speech, Ayla Harp said, “As members of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council, which was founded under the leadership of Our Union President, Mr. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, we are working to make women's entrepreneurship visible in our country as members who love their country, produce projects and try to contribute to economic and social development. With this forum, we need to develop and maintain lasting cooperation between us.”

After the presentations promoting TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council and Azerbaijan Women Entrepreneurs Association, the meeting participants gave detailed information about themselves and their business interests.

Turkey Azerbaijan Women Entrepreneurs Business Forum ended with bilateral cooperation talks between Azerbaijani and Turkish women entrepreneurs on a sectoral basis.
