Of the 4,620 capacity report approved in January; 1,363 were in Ä°stanbul, 312 in Bursa, 311 in Ankara, 284 in Ä°zmir, 188 in Konya, 140 in Kocaeli, 139 in Gaziantep, 100 in TekirdaÄŸ and 99 in Adana and Manisa.

The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industrial Database increased by 8.8% (6,956 units) to 86,305 units in January 2022 from 79,349 in January 2021.

According to the Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 9% (296,913 units) from 3,308,024 in January 2021 to 3,604,937 in December 2021.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
