2nd Asian Development Bank Business Opportunities Seminar

In cooperation with TOBB and the Asian Development Bank, the 2nd Asian Development Bank (ADB) Business Opportunities Seminar (Webinar) was held.​

At the Seminar which TOBB Board Member Oğuzhan Ata Sadıkoğlu as speaker, participants were informed by the Bank experts about renewable energy and affordable housing project opportunities and the Bank's business and procurement processes.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is one of the world's most important regional development banks. Founded in 1966, the ADB currently has 68 countries, including Turkey, while 49 of them are located in the Asia-Pacific region. Headquartered in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, the bank also has offices in 31 countries.

Turkey became a member of the Asian Development Bank in 1991 with the status of “donor country” in order to provide new market opportunities for the Turkish private sector and to support the development of the Turkic Republics in Central Asia. Since 1997, Turkish companies operating mainly in the construction field have been able to provide materials, products, services and consultancy to the Bank's projects in the projects financed by the ADB in the developing countries of Asia and bid on ADB's tenders in this context.
