200,000 Lira grant support opportunity for young entrepreneurs with BIGG Green Growth Call

Within the scope of the fight against climate change, applications for the BIGG Green Growth Call were opened to contribute to the green transformation of the Turkish economy and industry.​

TUBITAK 1512 Individual Youth Initiative (BIGG) Program stands out with its 100% non-refundable (grant) facility opened by TUBITAK to support projects involving “Technological R&D and Innovation.” Since 2015, 800 people in 20 provinces have participated in entrepreneurship trainings, 450 entrepreneurial mentoring supports and 71 teams have been awarded TL 11.3 Million non-refundable grant support to implement their business ideas.

The BIGG GARAGE Entrepreneurship Support Program, which will be held in cooperation with TOBB ETU, Hacettepe TTM and KTO Karatay University, has started to receive the first thematic BIGG Call “BIGG Green Growth Call” applications in the new period for 200,000 TL TUBITAK grant support. Technology-based entrepreneurship trainings, business plan creation, project writing trainings and all mentoring support to be provided within the scope of BIGG GARAGE Program will be carried out free of charge by TOBB ETU TTO Garage.

TOBB ETU Technology Transfer Office said in a statement, “We are pleased to work with our entrepreneurial students who want to realize their Technology Based and Innovation project and to start their own company with a 100% grant with 200,000 TL non-refundable grant.” Application and Detailed information can be found at https://etugaraj.org/.

Thematic areas in the project are:

- Climate Change, Environment and Biodiversity: Studies to Contribute to the Aim of Climate Change, Carbon Emissions and Regulation of Greenhouse Gas Emissions

- Clean and Circular Economy

- Clean, Accessible and Safe Energy Supply

- Green and Sustainable Agriculture: Sustainable Agriculture from Field to Table

- Sustainable Smart Transportation

Application Terms:

- To be a student or graduate enrolled in any associate degree, undergraduate, master's or doctoral program

- Not having previously received support within the scope of the Ministry of Industry and Technology Technology Capital Support or TUBITAK 1512 Program Phase 2

- Not being part of the partnership structure of any business as of the pre-application date
