The number of capacity reports approved in the first 9 months of 2021 increased by 17.4% (5,523 units) compared to the first 9 months of 2020.

Of the 4,352 capacity report approved in September, 1120 were in Ä°stanbul, 285 in Ankara, 280 in Ä°zmir, 254 in Bursa, 201 in Konya, 170 in Gaziantep, 160 in Kocaeli, 105 in Manisa, 100 in Adana, 91 in Mersin.

The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industrial Database increased by 7.9% (6,108 units) to 83,673 units from 77,565 in September 2020.

According to the Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 235,633 (7.3%) from 3,241,819 in September 2020 to 3,477,452 in September 2021.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
