Participants were informed under the sub-headings “Is your company ready for 2030,” “Do you know your carbon footprint,” “What is your company's climate report card,” “What is Fit For 55,” “What does Carbon Regulation at the Border bring,” “What are the threats-opportunities for Turkish exporters,” and “What companies should do.”

On behalf of TOBB Turkey's Foundry Industry Council, Council President Uğur Kocaoğlu and TOBB Turkey Iron and Non-Ferrous Metals Council President Veysel Yayan made assessments on behalf of the sector.

Horizon Consulting Co-Founder Eser Erginoğlu informed the participants about the responsibilities of and costs to companies with his presentation titled “What does carbon regulation bring at the border.” In addition, he mentioned the obligations of the companies exporting to the EU and the obligations of the importer company in the EU and emphasized the importance of the company's climate report card. He shared with the participants the roadmap to be followed in the Process of Harmonization of the EU Green Deal.

Berna Bildik, Environmental High Engineer at the Turkish Institute of Standars, informed the participants about the European Green Deal Action Plan and the work carried out by TSE.
