The Council, which plans to create an elite community of experts and academicians who will participate in the training, seminars, etc. to be given in the sector, aims to contribute to the development of the sector and its employees.

At the meeting, Councilors Metin Duruk and Mehmet Şanal informed that the visits to Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Hasan Büyükdede and Deputy Minister of Environment and Urbanization Hasan Suver were positive and announced that the decision was made to work together with the Ministry of Industry and Technology on EU directives and that the sector was promoted. Metin Duruk also informed that the sector wants to work together in order for TSE laboratories to be internationally recognized and Eurovent tests in particular to be carried out in TSE laboratories.

After receiving information about the latest situation in the General Technical Specification of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, Professional Engineering and Professional Insurance, the Council members decided to work on the measurement of domestic air quality to be forwarded to the Turkish Accreditation Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Turkak).

Another project of the Council discussed at the meeting was the creation of Heating and Cooling External Air Temperature Calculation Values, updating the relevant TS standards and establishing a Simulation program.

Evaluating the roadmaps prepared for the implementation of the Turkish Air Conditioning Strategy Document with the “Be corporate! Do R&D! Export!” motto, the Council members received information about the work to be carried out with Istanbul Avcılar Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and the 2022 Solar Decathlon, which will be held jointly with ITU and German Lübec University.
