TOBB Turkey Climate Control Council visited Ministries

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Climate Control Council visited Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Hasan Büyükdede and Deputy Minister of Environment and Urbanization Hasan Suver and presented the topics on the agenda.​

During the visit to Hasan Büyükdede, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology in order to ensure private sector and public cooperation, TOBB Turkey Climate Control Council President Zeki Poyraz, together with the accompanying Council members Metin Duruk and Mehmet Şanal, informed Büyükdede about the Strategy Document and Objectives of the Turkish Climate Control Sector and presented the Strategy Document book.

 

Council Representatives, who received a promise of support for their work, conveyed the desire of the sector to work together so that Eurovent tests can be carried out in TSE laboratories as part of the visit. During the talks, it was decided to hold a joint meeting on directive studies on commercial refrigerators.

 

- Energy efficiency explained

 

Energy efficiency was the main agenda during the visit to Deputy Minister of Environment and Urbanization Hasan Suver.

 

The TOBB Turkey Climate Control Council Delegation, led by Zeki Poyraz, gave information about insulation practices in the European Union. Zeki Poyraz, pointing out that insulation must be at least 10 cm thick in order to ensure energy efficiency effectively in existing buildings, asked for the creation of an interest-supported credit fund for these investments, which depreciated itself between 4 and 5 years on behalf of the sector.

 

Addressing the importance of obtaining the Bep-Tr document at the design stage, the representatives of the Council emphasized the need for the design of the sector and the introduction of building codes with expert engineering, which is important for the safety of life and property. Deputy Minister Hasan Suver was presented with the Turkey Climate Control Sector Strategy Document during the visit, which assessed the role of heat pumps in energy efficiency, its impact on carbon emissions and the need for incentives.

 

- Indoor air quality is essential

 

During the meeting, the delegation also touched on the internal air quality, which has a direct impact on people's health and quality of life, and gave information about the General Technical Specification of Machinery Installation prepared by the Council.

 

Noting that no clear product descriptions can be made in the use of domestic goods in construction works, industry representatives expressed the importance of completing the work on the European Union Industrial Product List Turkey Version (ProdTR) and the Unit Price Tariffs (Pose numbers) conversion lists of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.
