6.5% increase in Domestic Goods Certificate

Domestic Goods Certificates approved in 2020 reached 16,016, an increase of 6.5% compared to 2019.​

Of the 16,016 Domestic Goods Certificates approved by TOBB in accordance with the relevant Law, 10,732 were at the high and medium-high-tech level and 4,648 were at the medium-low and low-tech level.

 

Of the 15,037 Domestic Goods Certificates approved in 2019, 9,481 were at high and medium-high-tech levels and 4,880 were medium-low and low-tech.

 

- Most Domestic Goods Certificates at the Istanbul Chamber of Industry

 

Of the domestic goods certificates approved in 2020, 2,716 were at the İstanbul Chamber of Industry, 2,082 at Ankara Chamber of Industry, 1,438 at Aegean Region Chamber of Industry, 594 at Konya Chamber of Industry, 573 at Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, 563 at Çerkezköy Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 558 at Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, at 411 Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 368 at Ankara Chamber of Commerce, 347 at Adana Chamber of Industry, 289 at Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at 235 Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at 214 Konya Chamber of Commerce, at 198 Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

 

- Ä°stanbul, Ankara and Ä°zmir ahead

 

Of the domestic goods certificates approved in 2020, 3,290 were in Ä°stanbul, 2,465 in Ankara, 1,622 in Ä°zmir, 1,246 in TekirdaÄŸ, 881 in Konya, 632 in Kocaeli, 546 in Bursa, 434 in Adana, 301 in Sakarya, 253 in Mersin, 240 in Antalya and Gaziantep, 235 in Kayseri, 216 in Balikesir, 206 in EÅŸkisehir.

 

The Domestic Goods Certificate is approved by TOBB according to the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35), which was prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118. Domestic Goods Certificate gives a 15% price advantage to domestic applicants in public tenders. The certificate of domestic goods is also used in public construction works, telecommunications and insurance sectors.
