Turkish Venture Capital Council evaluated 2020

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Venture Capital Council met via video conference to evaluate the sector for 2020 and address current issues with the participation of industry representatives, presided over by TOBB Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitçi and Council President Göktekin Dinçerler.​

Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci stated that a meeting was held on November 28th with the attendances of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Treasury and Finance Minister Lutfi Elvan, Justice Minister Abdulhamit Gul, Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, Agriculture and Forestry Minister Bekir Pakdemirli, Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan, Family, Labor and Social Services Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk and Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey President Naci Ağbal, where the sector's problems and solution proposals were communicated firsthand.

 

During the meeting, where the Councilors consulted on 5 problems - 5 solution proposals, information was provided about the latest situations of the current issues followed by the sector.

They also assessed how collaborations could be developed with the Councils within the Sector Councils in the coming period and agreed to meet with the Councils designated on the issue.
