Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the value of the Republic, which is the most precious inheritance left to us by our ancestors, increases with each moment that passes.

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated in his message;
"The 29th of October, the day of the establishment of our Republic is a special and proud day for us all. The many gains we have acquired through numerous struggles must be preserved with determination and possessiveness. This mission is our inheritance as it will be for the generations that come after us. The best way to achieve the level of modern civilizations is through the Republic. It is by the rule of the people by the people.

When the revered Atatürk said, 'The governance that which most suits the Turkish Nation is that of the republic,' he made a very important and accurate assessment. Our grand nation which has stood together in unity and solidarity against every threat without making concessions regarding freedom will never relinquish this determination.

Republic is freedom of thought, unity and solidarity, it is the dominion of national will. It is the most advanced mode of governance on earth wherein every citizen is a first class citizen, where human rights and freedoms and beliefs are preserved. We remember every martyr and veteran who have sacrificed in order to ensure our chance to live in these lands, chief among them Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his brothers in arms.
