“Happy Republic Day”

In a message released on the occasion of Republic Day on October 29, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), said, “We celebrate the 102nd anniversary of our Republic, which Atatürk gifted to our nation, with enthusiasm, joy, and hope. At the heart of our Republic, the form of government that best suits our nation, lie our independence, our democracy, our brotherhood, and our unity. We will never abandon these values.”
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed the following views in his message:
“Our glorious Republic is celebrating its 102nd anniversary today. Let us not forget that the proclamation of the Republic is, in fact, the proclamation of the rebirth of the Turkish nation from its ashes, a nation that fought against all kinds of deprivation; against enemies far stronger than them, but never gave up. This rebirth is the light of a journey that will continue forever on the path of civilization.
In the second century of our Republic, we will be as courageous as our ancestors. We will continue to think big and dream big. As the private sector, we will continue to fulfill our responsibilities to contribute to the economy, make investments, and provide employment without slowing down.
I remember with gratitude and grace those who sacrificed their lives to win this homeland for us, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. May their souls rest in peace.
