The General Council meeting of the World Chambers Federation was held in Melbourne, Australia, with new members elected for the 2025-2028 term.​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the World Chambers Federation and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), said that they discussed the current state and future of the global business environment, the effects of climate change and what needs to be done for inclusive development.
