Making a statement about the visit, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We paid a get well soon visit to the Governor of İzmir, Süleyman Elban. We received information about the destruction caused by the fire in our city and the work carried out after the disaster. May Allah never let our country suffer such pain again. I convey my get well wishes to all our citizens affected by the fire. We are grateful to all our brothers and sisters who sacrificially fight against fires. I wish Allah’s mercy to our brothers who defended our Green Homeland at the cost of their lives and extend our condolences to their families. We should all be more fastidious in protecting our Green Homeland.”
